Polytetrafluoroethylene is the most important variety of fluoroplastics. It has excellent chemical stability, weather resistance, electrical insulation, flame resistance, outstanding surface non adhesion, extremely low friction coefficient, and a wide range of service temperatures. It can be used as wear-resistant, corrosion resistant, sealing, insulation, anti adhesion, and high and low temperature resistant materials, and is suitable for long-term work in the temperature range of -80-250C. Tetrafluoroethylene ethylene copolymer, known as fluoroplastic 40, is the lowest density of fluoroplastic (1.71-1.75g/cm3). It has both the radiation resistance of polyethylene and the corrosion resistance of tetrafluoroethylene, and can resist the corrosion of acid, alkali and salt aqueous solutions. It does not dissolve or swell in solvent. It is used as anti-corrosion, electrical insulation and radiation resistant parts in chemical, machinery, electrical appliances, atomic energy and other industries, with long-term service temperature of - 60-180 Cand short-term service temperature of 230 ℃. The tetrafluoroethylene hexafluoropropylene copolymer is composed of about 82% tetrafluoroethylene and about 18% hexafluoropropylene. Its properties and uses are similar to those of tetrachloroethylene, but it can be molded and processed by general thermoplastic molding processing methods, and is suitable for working at - 85-205C. Chlorotrifluoroethylene ethylene copolymer is called fluoroplastic 30. It has both the mechanical strength of nylon, the corrosion resistance of fluoroplastic and the molding performance of high-density polyethylene. It has good adhesion with metals, can be welded and fused by itself, and has excellent ultraviolet and infrared transmission and gas resistance properties. It is suitable for making seals, mechanical parts, low-frequency insulation products working under strong current, wet or corrosive media, etc FEP,PFA,PCTFE,PVDF,ETFE,PVF,PTFE Mianyang Prochema Commercial Co.,Ltd. , https://www.gustek.com

**BANGKOK, May 25, 2016** — The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology and Autodesk, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to boost Thailand’s manufacturing competitiveness by promoting the adoption of advanced 3D technologies and digital manufacturing solutions across industries.
Dr. Pichet Durongkaveroj, Minister of Science and Technology, emphasized that Thailand must transition from a "Thailand 3.0" model to a "Thailand 4.0" framework to move toward a high-income economy driven by innovation rather than traditional performance. He highlighted that Industry 4.0 technologies will enable direct consumer feedback to influence production, reducing the reliance on large-scale manufacturing facilities and reshaping economic infrastructure.
“This partnership will empower local SMEs by providing access to digital tools and training, helping them stay competitive in a rapidly evolving market,†Dr. Pichet added. “It also aligns with national goals in biotechnology, renewable energy, engineering, and the creative economy, strengthening Thailand’s long-term growth.â€
The NSTDA and Autodesk plan to launch a 'Digital Manufacturing Platform' as part of Thailand’s National Digital Economy Master Plan. This initiative will offer up to 100,000 engineers and professionals access to Autodesk’s 3D design, simulation, and collaboration tools for three years through a subscription model.
Dr. Thaweesak Koanantakool, President of NSTDA, said, “Digital manufacturing is essential for Thailand to thrive in a global market. This platform will foster innovation, enhance collaboration, and support the government’s vision for a digital economy.â€
Key components of the platform include Autodesk Fusion 360 and A360 Team. Fusion 360 integrates CAD, CAM, and CAE into one cloud-based solution, while A360 enables real-time collaboration and project management. These tools are designed to streamline the entire product lifecycle and improve efficiency in design and production.
Mr. Rama Tiwari, Regional Director of Sales at Autodesk ASEAN, noted, “Technologies like IoT, AR/VR, robotics, and 3D printing are transforming the industry. The Digital Manufacturing Platform gives Thai businesses and talent the tools to lead the future of manufacturing.â€
Beyond the platform, the collaboration includes joint research initiatives and technology development to support Thailand’s Smart Cities program. This ongoing partnership aims to build a stronger, more innovative industrial landscape.
**About NSTDA**
Established in 1991 under the Science and Technology Development Act, the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) oversees four key centers focused on genetic engineering, materials science, electronics, and nanotechnology. Its mission includes conducting research, developing technology, transferring innovations, and building human resources and scientific infrastructure for national growth.
