As a key player in the truck industry, FAW Jiefang committed to offering environmentally friendly and energy-efficient solutions to contribute to the city’s cleaner environment and greener future. Zhang Bing, Deputy General Manager of China FAW Trade Corporation, highlighted the company's comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at promoting its "green fleet" in Beijing. The pricing of these vehicles was set between RMB 3,000 and RMB 15,000 per unit, above the national standard price. To further encourage adoption, FAW Finance Co., Ltd. offered credit loan support, including extended repayment periods and reduced interest rates. In addition, FAW Jiefang increased spare parts inventory in the Beijing area, lowering average accessory prices by 16%. New car buyers also received free service time and no material charges. To ensure customer satisfaction, FAW Jiefang established a dedicated "Green Fleet Special Service Team" in Beijing, providing 24/7 support to guarantee efficient vehicle operation. After heavy-duty trucks and yellow-label vehicles were sold as used cars, they would receive one free maintenance check to speed up the resale process. Furthermore, FAW Jiefang leveraged its nationwide sales network and partnerships with second-hand car brokers to expand the used vehicle replacement business. They also provided training in maintenance, driving, and other essential skills for key users. With the active participation of industry leaders like FAW Jiefang, the management of yellow-label vehicles in Beijing is expected to achieve a win-win outcome, benefiting both the environment and the local economy.
