Faced with a near-zero basis, CLP's terahertz test R&D team is not afraid of challenges, bravely shouldering heavy burdens, based on domestic industrial basic conditions, core design and manufacturing, circuit modeling, precision manufacturing, metrology and calibration. The technology has carried out a comprehensive research: the ridge waveguide spatial multi-frequency multiplication method has effectively improved the compression point of the frequency multiplier, eliminating the influence of device parasitic parameters and electrical length, and solving the wide frequency band and high efficiency of the traditional frequency doubling circuit. The contradiction between the two has effectively improved the wideband output power of the frequency multiplier; established a balanced-to-unbalanced conversion circuit model of the all-metal structure, effectively reducing the dielectric loss, greatly expanding the bandwidth of the frequency multiplier, and improving the frequency multiplication efficiency. The result is that the frequency doubling efficiency is greater than 10% in the full waveguide bandwidth; the terahertz power meter is realized by the detection scheme, which solves the problem of fast response and high sensitivity detection of the terahertz signal, and overcomes the international thermocouple terahertz power meter. Problems such as large environmental impact, small power detection range, and slow detection speed; using terahertz heterogeneous circuit integration technology, eliminating Uniformity of terahertz hybrid integrated circuits and large insertion loss of traditional terahertz single crystal integrated circuits; realization of 50GHz to 500GHz series of high performance millimeter wave and terahertz vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators and power With four kinds of measuring instruments, the comprehensive performance has reached the international advanced technology level.
