It is understood that this is also the third polypropylene basic engineering design project that engineering company Arkvawan received in China in the past two years. Together with PetroChina's Fushun project, polypropylene manufactured globally using UNIPOL process technology has reached more than 10 million tons per year, which exceeds 16% of global production.
PetroChina Fushun Polypropylene Project adopts Dow technology
Dow Chemical Company and Akokwana Engineering Co., Ltd. recently announced that China Petroleum Fushun Petrochemical Company (hereinafter referred to as “China Petroleum Fushunâ€) chose to use the Dow Technology Transfer Department in the newly-built 300,000-ton polypropylene plant. UNIPOL Polypropylene Process Technology, Akokwana Engineering Company will provide a variety of process engineering design solutions and technical consulting services for this project.
