4-Alarm brush fire in Pembroke, 4/1/15

This is from Dennis McGuire, Jr.

Josh Boyajian and I were in Kankakee County taking rig shots when the Pembroke Fire Protection District (FPD) called for a third alarm due to a brush fire at 2600 South and 13000 East. The fire was burning across approximately 50 acres and included several abandoned vehicles, trailers, mobile homes, and a large number of tires. As the situation escalated, command upgraded the alarm to the fourth level and requested a Strike Team from MABAS 37. The area is mostly wooded with rolling hills and scattered residential homes, which made the response more challenging.
