This is from Martin Nowak: At approximately 1:58 PM on Wednesday, the Bridgeview Fire Department responded to a dryer fire at the Bridgeview Inn Motel located at 10030 S Harlem Ave in Bridgeview, IL 60455. Engine 425 was the first unit on scene. Shortly after, Ambulance 406 and Engine 405 arrived along with Battalion Chief 40. About five minutes later, Aide 426 showed up. Mutual aid came from North Palos and Roberts Park. From North Palos, we had Battalion Chief 8, Ladder 804, and Aide 8R2. The ambulances were staged across the street on 100th Place. Roberts Park was stationed a bit further down the block on 100th Place. Roberts Park sent Engine 3R, as Ladder 31 is currently out of service and the crew is using a reserve engine (A31) and BC3. While Ladder 804 was being set up, crews were ordered to return. Here are some photos I took.  Martin Nowak photo  Martin Nowak photo  Martin Nowak photo  Martin Nowak photo  It’s always interesting to see how quickly the local departments respond. The coordination between Bridgeview, North Palos, and Roberts Park was impressive. I snapped these photos while standing just across the street, so I could get a good view of the scene without getting too close. It's a reminder of how important it is for these units to work together during emergencies. I hope the situation wasn't too severe, and everyone made it out safely.
