The ASPTM series shredding and pelletizing system integrates the functions of shredding, crushing, feeding, plasticization, and pelletizing into a single process. This advanced system is designed to handle all types of plastic waste, including film, raffia, trim, hollow parts, bottles, and foaming materials.
Ideal for industrial recycling applications, the ASPTM system provides an efficient, cost-effective solution that ensures high-quality output while reducing operational costs. It is suitable for both light and heavy plastic scrap, making it a versatile choice for any recycling facility.
Shredding & Feeding
In collaboration with European shredder suppliers, the system features specialized shredding rotors that work in conjunction with single-screw extruders. These components effectively reduce, crush, and feed various types of plastic waste, including films, bottles, woven bags, fabrics, purges, and lumps. This makes the system highly adaptable to different kinds of plastic scraps in any condition.
Melt Filtration
A standard single-plate or piston double-station screen changer, or a non-stop double-plate or piston four-station screen changer, can be installed on the extruder head to ensure effective filtration. The level of filtration required depends on the quality of the input material and the intended use of the final granules.
Plasticization & Degassing
The system uses a specialized single-screw extruder to gently melt the crushed plastic scraps. The processed material is melted and plasticized on a 32D processing section. With a dual-zone vacuum degassing system, moisture and low-molecular volatiles are efficiently removed, making it especially suitable for heavy printed and moisture-sensitive plastics.
Pelletizing
The die-face water ring pelletizing system is the standard method used in the ASPTM system. The self-adjusting pelletizing head ensures optimal granulate quality and long service life due to consistent blade pressure. The RPM of the rotating blades is automatically adjusted based on the extrusion pressure of the melt.
