To change this, China must enhance its technological capabilities and engage in meaningful technical dialogue with foreign partners. Building stronger technical influence within joint ventures requires sustained effort and practical improvements. Simply relying on government support or upstream companies isn't enough. Parts companies must also find their own growth strategies. Experts believe that developing a multinational procurement system is a long-term goal, not something achievable in just a few years. Currently, the relationship between multinational automakers and their suppliers is stable and mutually beneficial. Breaking through this barrier will require more than just a few years of hard work. Chen Guangzu pointed out that Chinese parts companies still have a long way to go in supporting domestic brands. Even entering the domestic supply chain is challenging for many.
