Gwangyang Bearing transforms innovative ideas and successfully develops a large number of new products
Since the start of this year, Gwangyang Group has taken full advantage of the historical development opportunities, actively reshaping its approach to technological innovation. In the first half of the year alone, 233 new products with independent intellectual property were developed and launched. Five of these have been submitted for patent applications at the National Patent Office, and the company also applied for patents for practical processing methods related to bushing technology.

To support faster innovation, the company has implemented several strategies. First, it has aligned with city-level standards to improve the technical center, hired renowned experts in the bearing industry, and strengthened the design and process departments. Second, it has created a fast-track process for the trial production of new products, setting up a dedicated base equipped with advanced machinery and skilled staff. Third, to ensure product quality, the company upgraded its metrology and testing centers, enhancing testing methods and capabilities.
Recently, the company was informed that a heavy machinery factory in Shenyang required spherical roller bearings of specific models, including 220/670CAF3C9/W33, 220/680CAF3C9/W33, and 239/560CAF3C9/W33. A unique feature of these bearings is the split-type bushing, which addresses installation and positioning challenges. Upon receiving the design instructions, the technical center dispatched senior engineers and designers to the host plant to assess the main equipment conditions and collaborate with the factory's technical team. They ensured the bearings and bushings met all required specifications and worked together to develop and demonstrate the bushing manufacturing process.
Throughout the production process, company leaders, engineers, and workers collaborated closely, brainstorming and overcoming challenges. By applying the latest processing techniques, they successfully produced high-quality new bearing products in a short time. After installation and use, the products fully met the host machine's requirements and received widespread praise from users.
