Ningxia Petrochemical's Independent Technology Building Clean Gasoline Production Plant Successfully Drives Once

The laboratory data analysis on October 15 showed that the 1.2 million tonne/year catalytic gasoline hydrodesulfurization unit distillate export product of Ningxia Petrochemical qualified, indicating that China Petroleum used its own GARDES technology to build the first one-million-tonne grade clean gasoline production device to drive once Successfully entered the trial production stage.
It is understood that the project is a product upgrade project supporting 5 million tons/year of oil refining equipment. The device uses catalytic gasoline as raw material, selects GARDES technology developed by China University of Petroleum, adopts a pre-hydrogenation-selective hydrodesulfurization and octane recovery combination process route, according to the “one-time-in-place, individual-increased, non-replaceable” standard. The design meets the requirements of the company to reconcile the production country IV gasoline, while taking into account the production country V gasoline products, leaving room for deep processing of light gasoline in the future, and upgrading the quality of gasoline products.
It is reported that GARDES technology is a technology that produces clean gasoline through hydrodesulfurization and octane recovery, and adopts a hydrogenation pretreatment—light and heavy distillate cutting—selective hydrodesulfurization of heavy gasoline—an octane recovery technology route. This technology solves the problem of high sulfur content in FCC gasoline through selective hydrodesulfurization, and also solves the problem of excessive octane loss of gasoline during hydrodesulfurization using octane number recovery technology. The technology can also optimize the matching of catalysts and processes according to the sulfur content of raw materials, olefin content, hydrogenation product index and other conditions, and adapt to raw materials with high sulfur (up to 3000 micrograms/g) and high olefins (≥45%), and Low sulfur (≤300 μg/g) olefins are not required raw materials.
