New engine for the Troy FPD
From what I saw on the Rosenbauer-America Facebook page:
The Troy Fire Protection District just took delivery of their very first Rosenbauer apparatus. This sharp-looking 3/16" aluminum Commander FX pumper seems like it's going to be a great fit for their needs. It's got a massive 1500-gallon tank, a powerful 1500-GPM Waterous pump, and a robust 450 hp L9 Cummins engine under the hood. The truck also features some cool upgrades like a top-mounted pump panel, a distinctive paint job, and a 2600w Vanner Patriot Inverter. With its dimensions at 35'4" x 8' x 10'4", it should slide right into their firehouse without any trouble.
I have to say, the Troy Fire Protection District made an excellent choice going with Rosenbauer for this build. They really put together a versatile rig that looks both functional and professional. Kudos to Sentinel Emergency Solutions for capturing these photos - they did a great job showcasing the details of this impressive apparatus.
[Attached are several photos showing different angles of the truck. You can see the attention to detail in the paintwork, the layout of the pump panel, and how well it fits inside their station.]
It's always exciting to see how fire departments customize their vehicles to suit their specific requirements. This Commander FX pumper from Rosenbauer certainly looks like it will serve the Troy Fire Protection District well for years to come.
