New Engine for Prospect Heights (more)
Hey everyone,
I just got some exciting updates on the new Prospect Heights FPD engine being built by Alexis Fire Apparatus on a Spartan chassis. The delivery is scheduled for October, and I’ve managed to get some updated drawings along with photos of the chassis as it’s coming together.
Here’s what caught my eye: there are two detailed drawings showing the build progress of the Alexis fire engine. You can see the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into these vehicles. If you want to take a closer look or even download them, just click on the images below.

And here’s something really cool—a couple of shots of the new Spartan Metro Star chassis that will house the engine. It’s impressive how much thought goes into making sure every detail is perfect. These photos were provided by Alexis Fire Apparatus themselves.

Big thanks to Chief Smith for sharing all this awesome content! It’s always great to see how hard work pays off when building such high-quality firefighting equipment. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the delivery date in October.
Take care,
