Still & Box Alarm fire in Chicago, 11-5-19
Hey everyone,
I just got this update from Steve Redick about an ongoing situation. There's been a fire alarm going off at the building located at 5225 West Addison. It sounds like it could be pretty serious, but I’m still waiting for more details.

The fire seems to be spreading quickly, and there’s quite a bit of smoke visible. You can see how chaotic it is from these images:

From what I gather, they’re working hard to contain it, but it’s taking some time. The firefighters are doing their best to get the situation under control as soon as possible. Here’s another look at the scene:
It’s a scary situation, especially since it’s in such a populated area. The response team is doing everything they can, but it’s still developing. Let’s hope they manage to put it out soon before any major damage occurs. I’ll keep you posted as more updates come through.
