Fusion 360 pricing is now simplified to $25/month for full access, and it’s free for one year when you buy from new hardware partners. At MakerCon in San Francisco today, Autodesk made two major announcements that are set to make Fusion 360 more accessible than ever before. These updates aim to support the next generation of makers, designers, and innovators by breaking down barriers to entry in product development. Fusion 360 is a powerful cloud-based platform that combines CAD, CAM, and CAE into one seamless workflow. It's designed for the modern way of creating products—collaborative, connected, and scalable. One Version, One Price To simplify things, Autodesk is rolling out a unified pricing model. Starting May 30, all features previously found in the Fusion 360 Ultimate version will now be available in the standard Fusion 360 plan for $25 per month with an annual subscription. This includes simulation tools, animations, 3-axis machining, and much more. Now, anyone can take their design from concept to production without paying extra for advanced features. And here's the best part: Fusion 360 remains completely free for students, educators, schools, hobbyists, and startups. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn, create, and build without financial barriers getting in the way. "The pace of change in manufacturing is accelerating rapidly," said Andrew Anagnost, Senior Vice President of Industry Strategy and Marketing at Autodesk. "From crowdfunding to digital fabrication to cloud-based engineering tools, we're witnessing massive shifts. The ability to create physical products has never been more accessible—and we're making sure our tools match that accessibility." Fusion 360 Free with New Hardware Partners In addition to the pricing update, Autodesk also announced a new hardware partnership program. Starting today, selected machine vendors will include a free one-year commercial license of Fusion 360 with the purchase of their equipment. Today’s desktop mills and 3D printers offer incredible power to individuals. We wanted to make it easier for these manufacturers to provide a complete solution and for customers to get started quickly. By integrating design software, post-processing tools, and machine setup information, we’re delivering an experience that sets a new standard in the industry. Participating hardware partners include Biobots, BoXZY, CNCRouterParts, MYDIYCNC, OMAX, Other Machine, Pocket NC, Printrbot, Type A Machines, and Tormach. These partners range from consumer-grade 3D printers to high-end CNC machines, even including ones capable of printing human tissue. More details about each partner, bundle options, and availability can be found on our partner page, which will be updated regularly with new additions. The message is clear: manufacturing is evolving, and so is the software that powers it. With Fusion 360, you get everything you need in one place. Buy a machine from one of our partners, and we’ll give you a year of free access. If you're a student, educator, or startup, you already get it for free. "Lowering the barriers to entry in product development is something we're deeply committed to," said Anagnost. "Our partners and our customers feel the same way. I'm thrilled to empower the next generation of creators with the tools they need to bring their ideas to life."
