Design Every Detail with AutoCAD 2015
Autodesk AutoCAD 2015 is the latest version of one of the most popular CAD software in the world. This major update brings a fresh look, enhanced performance, and new features that streamline design workflows and improve user experience. For the first time, users can access AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT on a flexible pay-as-you-go subscription model, making it easier than ever to get started.
According to Amy Bunszel, Vice President of AutoCAD Products at Autodesk, "AutoCAD 2015 represents the most significant interface redesign in over a decade. It empowers professionals to bring their ideas to life with greater efficiency and connectivity."
One of the most noticeable changes is the new, darker interface, which not only looks more modern but also reduces eye strain. The updated Tab Pages feature allows users to quickly open and manage multiple drawings, while ribbon galleries offer a visual way to access drawing content directly from the toolbar, saving time and effort.
"AutoCAD is essential for our daily operations," said Levi Conover, Senior Design Manager at Artthaus, Inc. "We use it for everything from initial designs to collaboration with consultants and reviewing files on mobile devices like the iPad via AutoCAD 360."
Other improvements include better text formatting tools, similar to word processors, with automatic bullets, numbering, and superscript/subscript support. The software now offers improved handling of online maps, geographic data, and point clouds, making it easier to integrate real-world information into designs.
Additionally, the new Autodesk Application Manager helps users stay up to date by automatically notifying them of updates and extensions, and installing them seamlessly.
With TrustedDWG technology, users can be confident that their design data remains accurate and intact across all platforms—desktop, cloud, or mobile.
AutoCAD 2015 comes in three versions: AutoCAD LT for 2D drafting, AutoCAD with full 3D modeling and point cloud support, and the AutoCAD Design Suite Standard edition, which includes advanced tools for concept-to-completion workflows.
Available starting March 28, 2014, AutoCAD 2015 is now accessible through Desktop Subscription plans, offering monthly, quarterly, and annual payment options. This flexibility makes it easier for businesses of all sizes to choose the plan that best fits their needs.
