One of the first things users will notice is the sleek, modern interface. The darker theme not only looks more professional but also helps reduce eye strain. Plus, the new Tab Pages feature allows for quick access to multiple drawings, while ribbon galleries make it simpler to find and use drawing content without extra clicks.
Levi Conover, senior design manager at Artthaus, Inc., shared his thoughts: “As a design-build firm, we rely heavily on AutoCAD for our production and organization. The platform offers great flexibility, from initial schematics to collaboration with consultants and reviewing DWG files on the iPad via AutoCAD 360.â€
AutoCAD 2015 also introduces improved text formatting tools, similar to word processors, including automatic bullets, numbering, and superscript/subscript support. Users can now work more efficiently with online maps, geographic data, and point cloud information. A new tool called the Autodesk Application Manager makes it easy to stay updated with the latest features and extensions.
