Here's a message from Eric Haak: Below are some photos taken during a working fire that occurred on Sunday morning (November 11th) in the 4600 block of West Altgeld. The fire was confined to the attic, but it still had a major impact as the home was occupied. Several family members, including children, were left without a place to stay after the incident. The responding units included Battalion 7, Engine 91, Truck 58, Engine 7, Truck 35, Squad 2, and Battalion 8 RIT with Truck 53. It's always heartbreaking to see such incidents, especially when families are affected. Thanks to the quick response, the fire was contained, and no injuries were reported.
