Denmark's pre-built world largest offshore wind farm will reach 600,000 kw

Danish Prime Minister Rasmussen announced on the 22nd that the Danish government plans to build a giant offshore wind turbine with 200 wind turbines on the Baltic Sea. Rasmussen said at a regular press conference that the planned giant wind farm will serve as the government on the 24th. Part of the "2050 Energy Strategy" announced.

The huge wind farm will have an installed capacity of 600,000 kilowatts and can supply 600,000 households at the same time. Once completed, it will be connected to the Danish power grid, the German power grid and the Swedish grid, and its power generation capacity will be three times that of the world’s largest wind farm. .

The largest wind farm in the world is the HORNSREV2 wind farm built by Danish East Energy in 2009. The wind farm is located on the sea surface of the North Sea, 30 kilometers off the coast of Denmark. It covers an area of approximately 35 square kilometers and has 91 wind turbines. The annual generated electricity is equal to the annual electricity consumption of some 200,000 households.

Another new offshore wind farm under construction by East Energy will be completed in 2012 with a total installed capacity of 400,000 kilowatts, which can provide power for 400,000 households at the same time.
