KSS inflatable safety belt

U.S. auto parts supplier KSS safety system has recently mass-produced rear seat inflatable seatbelts for Ford Explorer models. KSS started trial production in November 2009 to inflate seatbelts.

KSS inflatable seat belts have also been finalists in the finals of the American Automobile News PACE Awards. The PACE Awards will be held on April 11 in Max M, Detroit. Fisher Concert Hall.

Mike Moore, KSS seatbelt engineering director, said: “We are very pleased to be shortlisted for the PACE award. KSS will continue to expand the market penetration of inflatable seatbelts.”

Headquartered in Sterling Heights, Michigan, KSS has 34 sales, engineering, and production subsidiaries worldwide, and four major technology centers in the United States, Germany, China, and Japan. KSS's products are used in more than 300 models, including airbags, steering systems and seat belts.
