GE Lighting Completes Museum Lighting Projects in the United States and Germany


Recently, GE Lighting completed the lighting projects of many museums in the United States and Germany. These projects not only showcased the professional lighting solutions of GE Lighting, but also added bright colors to the upcoming Autumn Museum exhibition.

The Science Storm exhibition at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry in the United States provides interactive learning experiments for visitors of all ages: a 40-foot vortex tornado composed of water vapor and light, and a 20-foot diameter spinning Avalanche discs and an automatically controlled heliostat. When they are illuminated, the light wave pattern is mapped from the ceiling to the audience below.


Germany's famous Museum of Contemporary Art Collection - K20 Art Museum in Düsseldorf, a recent lighting solution expansion project that combines old and new architectural lighting and uses structural elements and other mechanical features to seamlessly integrate daylight and electric light sources .


The lighting scheme of TerraMineralia, a museum in the German state of Saxony, shows more than 5,000 chemical minerals from different continents, highlighting the architectural style of the mid-12th century. This lighting scheme guides visitors through key lighting and point light sources, and presents the unique properties of minerals.
