The power components used in the Case H series forklifts are the same as those of the Case industry-leading N series backhoe loaders, including the engine and transmission shaft. Unlike the Case backhoe loader, the H Series forklifts feature hydraulic drive and the wet disc brakes have no auxiliary power.

The external wet disc brake design allows the technician to easily remove the external components, such as the tires and rims, without having to remove the shaft. This design greatly reduces the time required to maintain the brake system. In addition, a larger braking surface helps to increase brake life and reduce brake repair frequency.
