At present, the new process of heating flotation of sulphide ore flotation plants has been increasingly applied. There are three main situations in the sulphide ore heating flotation process.
(1) Heating to desorb the drug. The pulp is heated and stirred, and lime is added to remove the yellow drug film on the surface of the sulfide mineral. Practice has shown that adding 5~10kg/t of lime and heating to boiling can remove the film of the sulfide mineral surface collector. Inhibitors can be effectively achieved together with a multi-metal separation between minerals.
(2) Oxidative heating. Heating increases the oxidation of minerals, and the oxidized minerals become easily inhibited. For example, copper- molybdenum mixed concentrate, adding lime to cause high alkalinity, heating and aerating, so that copper sulfide and iron sulfide minerals are oxidized, molybdenite is not oxidized, and then sodium sulfide is used to suppress copper and iron sulfide flotation molybdenum. . The effect of separating copper and molybdenum is significantly improved.
(3) Reducing warming. The use of a reducing agent such as sulfur dioxide enhances the suppression of minerals by the reduction of the warming-enhancing agent. For example, copper- lead mixed concentrate is heated to about 70 °C by steam, sulfur dioxide is added, and the pH value drops to about 5.5. The galena loses its floatability and the chalcopyrite still has good floatability, realizing copper. A lead is separated. Whereby the agent can not toxic cyanide, heavy chromate and the like.
Heating methods include: steam direct injection, steam serpentine tube, direct resistance heating, direct use of industrial hot water return, etc., direct steam heating in the industry is more common.
