Use of barite and technical and economic indicators

The largest industrial use of barite is currently used as a weighting agent for oil and gas drilling mud. Mud containing this weighting agent cools the drill bit, strengthens the borehole wall, and controls the pressure of crude oil and natural gas to stabilize oil and gas production and prevent blowout accidents. Statistics show that about 85% of the world's barite consumption is currently used as a mud weighting agent.
Barite second purpose is to create a large variety of chemical products barium, mainly barium carbonate, barium chloride, barium titanate, barium sulfate, barium nitrate, barium oxide and the like.
Barium carbonate (BaCO 3 ): The largest use is for the conversion of other barium salts and for the glass industry. The addition of strontium carbonate to the television picture tube and the electronic computing display can absorb X-rays, and the addition of strontium carbonate to the ceramic can make the product uniform in texture and improve its wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Also for removing barium sodium phosphate trimer production sulfate.
Barium chloride (BaCl 2): can be used for paints, coatings, leather, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, inks, water softener, metal heat treatment, purified brine chlor-alkali industry and other industries.
Barium titanate (BaTiO 3 ): is the main raw material for the manufacture of electronic ceramics. It is a basic ferroelectric material and is the core of integrated ceramic capacitors.
Barium sulphate (BaSO 4 ): Precipitated barium sulfate, used as a white pigment, as a filler for rubber, as a coloring agent, as a medicinal meal, as a photographic paper coating, etc.
Barium nitrate [Ba (NO 3 ) 2 ]: mainly used for signal bombs, detonators, detonators, ceramic glazes and drugs.
Barium oxide (BaO): It is mainly used for surface quenching heat treatment tanks, artificial leather, magnesium smelting , etc., as well as for extending the life of metallurgical furnaces.
Zinc bismuth white (also known as lithopone): It is a white non-toxic pigment with strong coverage. It is made of 70% barium sulfate and 30% zinc sulfide, and is widely used in the paint industry.
In addition, barite is also used as a getter for extracting metal crucibles, as a vacuum tube, or as an alloy with other metals for bearing manufacturing.
Due to different uses, various industrial sectors have different requirements for barite ore.

(1) Oil drilling The proportion: not less than 4.20.
Fineness: Wet sieve analysis passed through 200 mesh not less than 97% (gravimetric method), and through 325 mesh was 85% to 95% (gravimetric method).
Viscosity effect: a distilled water suspension of barite powder with a specific gravity of 2.50. After adding 1% gypsum solution, the apparent viscosity should not exceed 125 cPa•s (centipoise).
Soluble content: no more than 0.1% by weight.

(II) Chemicals The quality requirements for barite used in chemical industry are shown in Table 1.

For paints, high whiteness is required; for the production of barium salts, BaSO 4 is generally required to be 90% to 95%, and some departments require a temperature of 700 to 800 °C for the cracking of the barite after heating.

(III) Rubber and paper-making fillers The quality requirements for barite for rubber and paper-making fillers are shown in Table 2.

Polycarbonate Corrugated Sheet

Polycarbonate embossed and corrugated sheet

Use reverse-static tiny embossed patterns in intervals on both sides of the polycarbonate sheet with corrugate designed to enhance the tenacity and anti-static function of sheet .

The combonation of the embossed and smooth surface have a special effect .The rays through the embossed surface directly when it 's the strongest in the daytime,The light transmisssion is 50%,it makes the sunshine soft. The rays slanted through the smooth surface when it 's weak ,the light transmission is 90%.it makes the whole daytime have soft light .
