Headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the project will expand the technical capabilities of the Integran composite tool. The project aims to develop a hard metal coating called “nanovate NV(TM)†to meet the needs of aerospace vehicles to increase their lifespan and durability, and to achieve energy savings. The Canadian government will give the project a $4.6 million fee-for-money subsidy.

The aerospace industry has communicators with advanced knowledge and technology."
The project’s investment was obtained through the Strategic Aerospace and Defense Program (SADI), which supports strategic industrial research and competitive development projects in the aerospace, defense, space, and security industries. SADI is operated by the Industrial Technology Office, a special regulatory agency of the Canadian Industry Department, whose mission is to promote the development of cutting-edge technologies based on the requirements of Industry Canada.
The Canadian government's participation in the JSF project will qualify it to benefit from the favorable conditions and make the JSF partner a reserve advantage. However, this participation did not promise that the government will purchase the aircraft after the successful R&D.
