House fire in Lake Forest, 3-26-14
I just got some photos and updates from Niko Stefani regarding a house fire incident in Lake Forest, Illinois. The address where it happened is 464 Washington Road in Lake Forest. He shared pictures of several emergency vehicles that were on the scene, including Lake Forest Engine 422, Lake Bluff Rescue 520, Lake Forest’s chief vehicle, and Deerfield-Bannockburn Ambulance 19.
In addition to these, there were other units from different departments that responded to the call. Lake Forest sent Battalion 42, Engine 4200, Engine 4201, Engine 422, Engine 421, and Ambulance 421. Lake Bluff contributed with their Rescue 520. Highwood sent Engine 37. Lincolnshire-Riverwoods dispatched Squad 51 and Ambulance 52. Knollwood sent Truck 44. Highland Park had Battalion 33 and Engine 34 as part of their response team. Deerfield-Bannockburn sent their Ambulance 19.
Niko mentioned that he's sorry for any poor-quality images since it was dark out and the lighting conditions weren’t ideal. Despite the challenges, he hopes these photos help give an idea of what happened that night. All the images were taken by him.
Here are some of the photos he shared:
- A shot of the fire chief’s car under the night sky.
- An image of an ambulance parked nearby during the incident.
- Another showing a fire engine illuminated against the darkness.
It’s always tough capturing such events in low light, but I think he did a decent job considering the circumstances. Let me know if you need anything else!
