The vacuum pump then removes the water vapor, effectively drying the pipeline. This process includes stages like deep drainage, decompression, evaporation, and continuous vacuuming. The Pipeline Bureau has successfully applied vacuum drying in major projects, such as the pipeline project in western Libya and the natural gas pipeline between Zhuhai and Zhongshan. These successes have demonstrated the effectiveness of the technique. Vacuum drying is not only environmentally friendly but also reliable, fast, and efficient. It usually takes just 4 to 5 days to complete, making it ideal for large-scale projects. Its ability to thoroughly dry all parts of the pipeline without leaving any corners untouched makes it a preferred choice. With its growing popularity, vacuum drying is becoming the standard for long-distance pipeline drying in China and beyond.
