What principles should be followed for the grinding unit to start and stop?

Grinding machine in beneficiation plant is one of the major equipment, to make the mill has a good grinding effect, high operating rates in the grinding unit (including the mill, classifier, to the mining machine and lubrication systems, etc.) When parking is open, it should be handled strictly in accordance with the operating procedures to prevent major equipment accidents from occurring. Generally, the following should be noted:

1) Before starting the equipment, conduct a comprehensive and detailed inspection of the grinding machine and its equipment, and eliminate all faults that may affect the driving.

2) When driving, start the material flow direction from the back to the front ( bottom up ) , that is, the oil pump, the classifier, the grinding machine, the belt conveyor, and the feeding machine. It is forbidden to start multiple equipments at the same time; when planning to stop, it is necessary to return from front to back ( top-down ) to the mining machine, a belt conveyor, a grinding machine, a classifier, and an oil pump.

3) Each device must be opened at a certain interval. After all the equipment is started, it can be fed after normal and stable operation. ( If the oil pump works normally, start the grinding machine again. After the grinding machine runs for 2 to 3 minutes, start feeding to the mine ) .

4) The grinding machine is parked for more than 4 hours . Before driving, it is generally necessary to drive 2 to 3 turns to loosen the bonded slime and medium.

5) Normal parking ( planned parking ) should be carried out under empty load. The material in the equipment should be drained as much as possible (for example, the grinding machine should stop after 15 to 20 minutes after stopping the mine ) to create conditions for the next driving.

6) The running time of the mill should not be too long without feeding, usually less than 20min , so as not to consume steel balls and damage liners.
