General rules for mine gas inspection

(1) Establish a strict system for checking gas by patrol inspection chart.

(2) The mine chief, the mine technician, the blaster, the captain of the mining area, the captain of the ventilation zone, the engineering and technical personnel, the squad leader, and the mobile electric fitter must carry the portable methane detector. Gas inspectors must carry a portable methane detection alarm or a portable optical methane detector.

(3) All mining work faces, diverticulum, installation locations of electromechanical equipment in use, and locations where personnel are working should be included in the inspection scope.

(4) The number of gas concentration inspections in the mining face is as follows: at least 3 times per shift; the mining face with coal (rock) and gas outburst danger, the mining face with gas emission hazard and the gas emission is large and varied. An abnormal mining face must be inspected by a special person and a methane power-off device installed.

(5) The concentration of carbon dioxide in the mining face should be checked at least twice per shift; the mining face with coal (rock) and gas outburst danger, the mining face with large amount of carbon dioxide emission and abnormal changes, must have special personnel to check carbon dioxide frequently. Concentration; gas and carbon dioxide should be inspected at least once per shift in the excavation face where the work is not carried out; gas or carbon dioxide in the diverticulum and roadway where gas or carbon dioxide may accumulate or accumulate should be checked at least once per shift.

(6) Gas inspectors must implement the gas inspection system and the reporting system, and carefully fill out the gas inspection report. The results of each inspection must be recorded in the gas inspection manual and the record card at the inspection site, and the site staff should be notified. When the gas concentration exceeds the relevant provisions of the Coal Mine Safety Regulations, the gas inspection worker has the right to order the on-site personnel to stop working and withdraw to a safe place.

(7) The gas concentration in the wind flow outside the fence at the downhole stop site is checked at least once a day, and the gas concentration outside the windshield wall is checked at least once a week.

(8) Ventilation duty personnel must review the gas station report, grasp the gas change situation, find the problem, deal with it in time, and report to the mine dispatching room.

The ventilation gas daily report must be sent to the mine manager and chief engineer for review. For major ventilation and gas problems, measures should be taken to deal with them.
