The nature and use of lead in lead-zinc ore beneficiation technology

Lead is a blue-gray metal, new fracture has a brilliant metallic luster. The solid density is 11.35 g/cm3, the melting point is 327.4 degrees Celsius, the boiling point is 1525 degrees Celsius, pure lead is the softest in metal, and the Mohs hardness is 1.5. Lead has good malleability, but its ductility is very small and it is not resistant to tension. The thermal conductivity of lead is very poor, equivalent to 7.5% of silver , and the conductivity is also very poor, only 7.77% of silver.

Lead has a high degree of chemical stability and does not undergo chemical changes in dry air at ambient temperatures. Lead is easily soluble in dilute nitric acid, and lead is insoluble in sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid at room temperature. At normal temperature, the action of hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid only involves the surface of lead, and the formed PbC12 and PbSO4 are almost insoluble, and adhere to the surface of lead, so that the internal metal is not corroded. Lead does not react with alkali, nitrogen, chlorine containing solutions and organic acids and vinegar.

Because lead has the property of resisting acid and alkali corrosion, it is widely used. For example, it can be used to manufacture various components of chemical equipment, electrolytic cells of metallurgical factories, communication cable materials and batteries, etc., and can also be made into a babitite alloy. Lead-based alloy bearings; because lead can absorb radioactive rays, it is used in x-ray industry and atomic energy industry; lead compounds are used in industrial sectors such as pigments, ceramics, glass, rubber, petroleum refining, etc., and can also be used for soldering, printing, etc.

The manufacturing and production processes around the world have been developing and innovating at an increasingly rapid rate, and as innovation evolves, so too must all of the processes and people that are helping to drive it. Laser cutting able to work faster and for longer, more precisely which has been adopted in numerous industries, including automotiveaerospaceelectronicssemiconductors and medical. It has huge range advantages such as

1)Non-contact process

2)Low power consumption

3)A safer method

4)Can work with many different materials

5)Incredibly precision

6)One laser can be used for multiple applications
