Dabaoshan copper mine located in Shaoguan Maba County area, belong to the high school mesothermal copper deposit account. The copper deposit is an iron cap, and a considerable portion of the copper deposit has been exposed for more than 20 years. In 1970, a small plant of 300t/d was built. In 1976, it was expanded to a 600t/d copper plant. It uses a two-stage grinding priority flotation process with lime as an inhibitor, xanthate as a collector , and fine grinding. Degree 80-85%-200 mesh, using a crude two sweeping two fine process to select copper, and then use the same process to tail, to obtain sulfur concentrate. When the fineness of grinding -200 mesh accounted for 63.34%, the dissociation degree of chalcopyrite monomer was 77%, and when the -200 mesh accounted for 74.87%, the dissociation degree of chalcopyrite monomer was 83.5%. From 1970 to 1980, the grade of copper concentrate was 11-14%, the recovery rate of copper was about 60%, and the average grade of copper in 1980-1994 was 16.94%, and the recovery rate was 79.11%. We have studied the ore. A new float copper collector "DY-1" was developed. The agent has good flotation selectivity for copper and has foaming effect. The small test obtained a good index of 23.32% copper concentrate grade and a recovery rate of 94.93%. In 1995, industrial tests were carried out on production. The grinding grain size was reduced from -200 mesh to 85% to 75%, the copper concentrate grade was 18.56%, and the copper recovery rate was 87.06%.
